India is a country where politicians can afford a charted flight to buy sandals and a businessman possess a golden phone and a doctor owns 8 BMW`s and Ministers get lots of gifts like SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB during budget sessions but a 6 months child cant find a COT in hospital and the innocent parents run to various GOVT hospitals for the treatment of their kids. I think this is the result of privatization of the of certain sectors and the Govt remains silent on the recent deaths of the infants in kurnool. Coming to our state AndhraPradesh where the so called rulers are very busy in several other never ending major issues and least bother the suffering of poor kids. Surprisingly AP is giving a good fight in INFANT MORTALITY RATE with other states and maintaining dreadful ratio of 40.3% where the neighboring states karnataka(11%) & TamilNadu(23%) are far better than us.
The main reason for the Govt negligence is the effected kids do not belong to the cream of the society and all of them are form lower middle class & BPL families and obviously the rulers never care for them. Govt allocates appreciable amount in budget but the Fundings were always miss used by the respective departments. It is surprising even hospitals in the cities like vijayawada also have 17 beds and a single nurse for infant section where the inflow is about 45 kids per day. This is the case from many years but there is no improvement in the situation and the same case with Kurnool hospital , here the inflow is around 40 but facilities available are only for 20kids.
We all know that oxygen is vital for human being and most of the kids suffer with breathing problems and they need a ventilator to overcome the respiratory problem .The most dreadful thing here is the ventilators need oxygen cylinders and the officers in one of the hospitals supplied INDUSTRIAL OXYGEN cylinders for the purpose of ventilation and we have witnessed the result recently. All the hospitals around the state are running out of ventilators and kids should wait in a cue to harness the ventilation facility. Once failed machines are never repaired and every Govt hospital is lack of infrastructure. Every year Govt releases 1160 corers funds for the Women Welfare and Child Welfare but the funds are transferred into the pockets of filthy politicians. They can build a hospital with 50 beds in each city if they use the funds in righteous way. Even our country is competing with pakistan, Congo and Nigeria in infant mortality rate and for every 15sec one poor kid leaves last breath in this great Democratic India. Our leaders never take promising steps for the welfare of the children because the poor kids cant do strikes and they do not have a right to vote.
These serious issues are never taken seriously by Govt, It just appoints a Committee and ask them to submit the report and tactfully buries the issue after couple of days. Govt would have eradicated 90% of the problems if it had taken serious actions over this issue but as usually it neglected the down trodden people. I really hate these nasty rulers and the officers, The MF`s don't even leave the poor kids and even eat their funds and the blues of the babies are never ending. Nearly 60000 innocent babies are barbarously murdered by the fucking politicians. This is the time for the leaders to wake up from their everlasting Slumber.
