Child Abuse: Are our children safe ??

Today while we celebrate International Yoga Day, 94 women are

being tortured in the most vicious human act named RAPE in INDIA. I fear for the future of the baby girl on my mother land. Where safety has become a dream in Mothers womb, inside a Hospital ward, a class room in the School & College, on the Roads and among-st this male dominated society. These atrocities on women are irrespective of the age ranging from 2 years infants to 70 years senior citizens.

The outrage on children been increased by 336% in past decade 2001-2011. More than 48 thousand children are victims of this brutal act. From these stats one can clearly understand where do we stand in safe guarding the future of the country. Violence on children is wide spread across the nation but MP tops the chart.

Two innocent girls aged around 10 were brutally raped by friends father in Gujarat. In Mathura two policemen confined a minor tribal girl and harassed her physically. Lots of such instances are repeatedly happening across our nation. In most of the cases the person who commits the crime is not a complete stranger. Most of the convicted people are from the same family or the people who are well known to the children.

There are more than 10 articles written regarding this in Constitution and many laws were made but the progress in avoiding such cases is still unripe fruit The most irritating and unchanged reality in our country is that more than 80% of the child abuse cases are still pending in courts. According to the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012(POCSO) every district there must be a separate session court for hearing these cases and there should be a dedicated public prosecutor appointed to handle such cases.

Children should be safe-guarded and we need to educate them how to raise alarms when some one tries to abuse them. Educational institutes must step up and undertake the activities which help children to protect themselves.

The land of customs and cultures has emerged as the land of rapes the reason for the outrage of the inhuman act is unknown. Protecting child rights is also major responsibility of the politicians and their respective governments though children don't have the right to vote.

Indian "Streets"

I am proud to be Indian, I am proud about patriotism we Indians have. India is the worlds largest democratic country. We have great blend of cultures and customs. We all have great ancient history. We value people and relations more than any thing else. Hail India...hail Indians. Once go through the following pictures. We Indians are great... then who are these people ?

All these people also belong to the same great nation. Don`t think that they belong to villages. Most of them stay in the most renowned cities like Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai. These people are also there in our so called great society where they should wait for months to feed their empty stomachs. Do you know the daily routine of these down trodden people...? here it is....

Most of the street children sleep on the roads...since they don`t have any shelters (but our gimmy`s and tommy`s have good shelter). They rise as soon as sun rises and start their never ending quest for  food. They start begging on streets and if they are lucky enough they might get a rupee or two. Now starts the real fight, they should share that rupee or so with lot of people. On the other side we woke up at 8am and we have lot of options for break fast. We need to make a choice where these poor kiddos never had any choice rather than begging.

As the day passes they need to strive hard....they start their quest for waste papers and plastic papers and plastic bottles. They get around two to three rupees for 100 bottles. These kids will fight at railway tracks and bus stops for these waste bottles... and plastic mafia is very effectively utilizing these kids to fill their empty pockets with lots of money.

At the evening their quest again starts for a place to pass the night. They face lot of problems even here.. they are thrown out of railway stations, Bus stops, parks and temples and finally the poor kiddo rest on footpath provided no police harass them. Again sun rises and their struggle continues.....:-(

I am also an Indian
According to the statistics 41.69% of people were below poverty line in 1990 and now it is 25.19%.... wow what an improvement...but think about rise in population from 1990 to 2011 percentage of poverty declined but people with empty stomach increased. We have transformed from under developed to developing nation in this sixty years of Independence but we failed to help them to fulfill their ever lasting quest. Even now we are proud to be Indians.

Sharad Pawar Slapped...

 24th Nov 2011

Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar was today slapped by a man at the New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) centre in New Delhi. The incident occurred while the minister was leaving the premises after attending a literary function. The attacker, identified as Harvinder Singh, reportedly blamed Mr Pawar for rising prices of essential commodities. "This is my answer to corrupt politicians," shouted the attacker as he took out his kirpan (small knife) and threatened to kill politicians. He was whisked away by security guards soon after and was subsequently arrested by the Delhi Police and taken to the Parliament Street police station. He has been charged with attempted suicide, assault and criminal intimidation.

The attacker, incidentally, is the same person who slapped former telecom minister Sukhram inside the premises of a Delhi court, moments after he was sentenced to five years of rigorous imprisonment in a corruption case dating back to 1996."I was answering some questions by a group of journalists when I saw this man coming towards me and I thought he wanted to ask me a question. I don't know what his intention was. It is up to the police whether they want to press charges against him or not...I am no judge to forgive him," Mr Pawar, who is also the chief of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) which is a key ally of the Congress at the Centre, said reacting to the incident.

Cigarette: A fire at one end & A fool at the other

21 Nov 2011

One of the most popular quotes even a 2nd standard student know is "Smoking Is Injurious To Health" and more over this is also the most neglected caution quote. According to me smoking is like suicide and it is the most idiotic way to curtail your life span. Most of the children are getting inspired from their parents and about 80,000 to 100,000 kids start smoking worldwide everyday. The most interesting fact is about 15 billion cigarettes are sold every day and nearly 10 million per minute in this world. I don`t want to preach any thing to the smokers but i just want to mention some facts about smoking.

Why should you quit Smoking....?

 1. First thing is your most precious Cigar contains over 4000 chemical compounds and at least 400  toxic substances. When you inhale your bloody cigar it burns at 700°C at the tip and around 60°C in the core. This heat breaks down the tobacco to produce various toxins. Some of the toxins and their reflections on your body are Nicotine which increases cholesterol in body, Carbon monoxide reduces oxygen content in body.

2. If you want to end up your life with a cancer..go ahead because smoking causes a wide variety of cancers...some of them are Mouth cancer, Lung Cancer, Bladder Cancer, Cervical Cancer and Cancer in Kidneys, Pancreas and O esophagus.

3. According to recent research every Cigarette you smoke shortens your life by 11 minutes. Why should you reduce your own life time...just for this bodily pleasure.. nothing in this world is costlier than the life. Every eight seconds, someone dies from tobacco use.Smoking related-diseases kill one in 10 adults globally. Coming to Indian stats nearly 1 million deaths are registered under tobacco smoking. So finally if you don`t care for your life go head and smoke daily...

These days women are competing with men in each and every field and even in smoking they are giving the tough fight. Especially our Indian women enlisted our nation in the 3rd position globally with maximum number of female smokers. Mainly our Metro cities Mumbai, Delhi are at the top most cities with lots of women smokers. Parental smoking causes childhood chronic cancers to their children.

In India Govt made certain laws against smoking, a ban on smoking in public places came into force in October 2008 in an effort to curb high levels of tobacco addiction. Anyone caught breaking the law will be fined 200 rupees. The law also bans direct and indirect advertising of tobacco products and the sale of cigarettes to children but all these rules and laws are never followed in our democratic nation.

Who the hell asked you Kg rice for Rs.1...provide us pure Drinking water first :(

20th Nov 2011

Impure Water
Hyderabad is the 6th most polluted city in India, NONE OF THE WATER SOURCES IN THE STATE ARE SAFE FOR DRINKING OR BATHING Climatic conditions in the state are clearly worsening.

In fact, environmentalists say that the state capital is the sixth worst polluted city in the country. Alarmingly, the Krishna and Godavari rivers, that contribute around 90 per cent of the state’s surface water resources, are polluted with sewage, discharge of untreated effluents from industries and agriculture run offs.

The rapidly increasing air pollution and water contamination levels in Hyderabad and other cities, pose a grave risk. In it’s report, State of Environment in AP, the Environmental Protection Training and Research Institute (Eptri), says that none of the water sources in the state are safe for drinking or bathing without treatment. The EPTRI clarifies that Godavari river water is within safe limits till Manchiryal, but further downstream, the water is very polluted. Kolleru and Pulicat lakes are in a worse condition. According to the Water Conservation Mission, the state will move from a “scarcity of water” situation to a “severe scarcity of water” situation by 2020. This will be the result of over exploitation of surface water resources and indiscriminate tapping of ground water.

In 36 mandals of East Godavari, West Godavari and Krishna, ground water is unsuitable even for irrigation. Studies reveal that bulk drug industries in LB Nagar.Uppal, Bollarum, Jeedimetla, Sanatnagar and Balangar, are polluting the ground water. Eptri experts point out that even a major city like Hyderabad does not have total sewer system coverage, and barely one-third of sewage is treated. The rest flows into the Musi river. The present sewage system covers about 70 per cent of the GHMC jurisdiction, excluding former municipalities and a small portion of the LB Nagar sub-circle. The remaining eight former municipalities do not have a sewage system in place.

This situation results in the spread of diseases like cholera.

Mr. T. Sagar Reddy, an environment activist says, “The AP Water Land and Trees Act, 2002, enacted for water conservation and tree cover, and to regulate the use of ground water, is not implemented properly.” Hyderabad is struggling to deal with severe air pollution as well. According to the APPCB, Panjagutta, Abids, Charminar and Paradise, are the worst traffic junctions where carbon monoxide levels reach 4-5 mg per metric cube during peak hours, as against a “below 2mg per metric cube” tolerable mark.

APPCB senior environmental engineer, Mr T.Rajendra Reddy said, “Air pollution is touching the highest levels during peak hours at traffic junctions.

Vehicular pollution and traffic jams are the major factors for increased air pollution.
Idling engines, and very low average speeds result in vehicles emitting more unburned hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide. 9.30 am to 11 am, and 6 pm to 7.\30 pm, are the worst hours.” Suspended particulate matter is already at 300 micro grams per cubic metre, way over “must not exceed 200” norms. Places like Uppal, Jeedimetla, Shameerpet and Kukatpally have high levels of suspended particulate matter due to industrial activity and heavy vehicular traffic.

It’s a similar grim scenario in cities like Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada.
Over the past 10 years, temperature in the city increased by 4ºCelsius. The Industries Department has been resolutely uninterested in environmental issues.Eptri recommendations to the state government, have been ignored.

Team Anna vs Controversies

17th Oct 2011

In recent years there was only one movement which has wide range of acceptance all over India...and all true citizens of India united and outraged against "Bhrastachar"- the Corruption and this was even named as second Freedom Struggle. People from every nook and corner of the nation has taken active part in the movement and vindicated their views. Anna Hazare lead the people to protest against Govt views on lokpal bill and even political parties raised their voices supporting Anna. Team Anna comprised of many intellectual people like Prashant Bhushan, Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi... etc and this united intellectuals inspired many people around the nation and made the movement successful but recently  Team Anna was the care of address for  controversies...some of the crucial members left and some of them are facing allegations of corruption. Now let us see some of them...

Hissar Issue: The main motto of the Team Anna is to fight against corruption and they always opposed politics and politicians. Team Anna decided to campaign against the congress in Hissar Lok sabha constituency in Haryana. Active campaigning was done by Kejriwal & Prashant Bhushan but they lost their original motto and their campaign seemed rather as a political and which was completely out of character of team. Some of the team members did not like the way it was done and questioned the campaigners but they did not get the satisfactory answers either from them or from Anna Hazare...so finally Mr.P.V.Rajagopal & Mr.Rajendra Singh chose to leave the Team Anna.
Prashant Bhushan

Kashmir Issue: The most prominent Kashmir issue even rattled Team Anna. Prashant Bhushan made controversial statements on plebiscite in Kashmir and hence Hindutva extremists launched a physical assault and eventually he was thrown  out of team.

Corruption Allegations: The basic cause for the evolution of the revolution is to eradicate corruption from the nation but miserably some of the team members are facing corruption allegations and this is a huge blow for the team since the most prominent members of the team Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi were facing these allegations. One of the members of the team Mr.Agnivesh charged Kejriwal for transferring funds amounted to 80 lkah from IAC(India Against Corruption) to the account of his personal foundation. Recently a slipper was thrown when he was addressing a  meeting in Lucknow. Any way they remained as allegations since there were no proofs were submitted by agnivesh.

Similarly Kiran Bedi was facing allegations that she has misused ticket fares and charged fill fare reimbursements from the people who invited her. Actually gallantry award winners get 75% concession on all economy class tickets on board India. Mrs Kiran Bedi transferred these full fare charge amounts to Indian Vision Foundation (IVF) an NGO headed by her. Any way Kiran protested that those amounts were saved for a cause.

Any way this is the time for Team Anna to re-group and launch a program that proves them they are strong to face the filthy politicians of UPA. UPA should remember that this movement is by the people of the people and for the people. Coming to Team Anna this is the time to react because Lokpal Bill is going to take a concrete shape in the winter session of the Parliament.

The Three Mistakes: King'fish'er Airlines

13th Nov 2011

Kingfisher airlines is the only airline group from India which was awarded 5 star rating by Skytrax. It is the India`s best airliner for this year. It has won many appreciations from worldwide....wonderful achievement by UB group of-course the key person behind this is the one and only "Vijay Mallya"but the present scenario is complete contrast...the airlines has ceased almost 60% of services...normally they used to operate 375 daily flights to 71 destinations but the situation dramatically changed in a week and almost 210 flights were cancelled and all booking counters in major airports remained Closed.

From the day of launching to till today Kingfisher haven`s seen any profits. All losses accumulated to an amount of 8,200 crore and there are no more bucks to pay for the fuel, salaries to the personnel and airport fees. Liquor Baron himself accepted that it is impossible to continue services on loss making routes. Mr.Mallya had taken huge amount of loans from the banks and some of the lenders have converted loans to equity and now they hold over 23% of the stake in airlines. Every major downfall has its own trend and there will be certain Mistakes which boosts the downfall....so even in this case there are the Three Mistakes Of Kingfisher airlines..lets have a look...

First Mistake: The basic strategy of  Vijay Mallya in business is to take over his counterparts when they are in losses and this 'Take Over King' has applied same strategy in case of "Air Deccan". Actually Reliance showed lot of interest in buying the Air Deccan almost the deal was about to be successful but Mallya entered from nowhere and grabbed the deal by putting the highest bid and eventually acquisition was done. Earlier it seemed to be a great deal since he got some planes and International license since Air Deccan was 5-year old and after certain procedures he finally launched International services officially. Basically KF used to maintain certain standards which made it very popular but Air Deccan never had them....this made Mallya to rename Deccan and  launched it as Kingfisher Red, which is a low price service...there started the real downfall.

Second Mistake: Generally these airline groups appoints CEO for different groups and all those CEO`s report to chairman of the group but Mallya never employed a CEO since he is successful in the Liquor group with out them but the staff in Liquor group are well experienced and they can handle any of the situations but the staff in Kingfisher failed to do so and they lacked a perfect leadership since Mr.Mallya is busy in various activities like RCB(IPL) & Force India(F.One).

Third Mistake: By launching Kingfisher Red a cheaper service  he launched his own downfall..when two services are from same brand people always opt the cheaper one and the same thing happened in case of Kingfisher. Red finally flagged a green flag for his collapse in airline sector and he totally ended up in losses. There were predictions that Vijay Mallya is about to request a Bail Out package from the Govt OF India.

Even today his liquor and beer business play a vital  role in the market and the Mallya had never experienced drastic downfall as KF  earlier in any business hope this Liquor Baron pulls of this adversity soon...

Fanaticism At Peaks :(

***MUST SHARE THIS OLD CASE ***

Rahul Gandhi, Congress Member, Parliament of India ,representing the youth of Congress Party is been charged for raping a girl named Ms.Sukanya who happened to be daughter of Congress worker....

A HIDDEN STORY- Read IT ENTIRELY, YOU CAN't just miss it. Sources are given below. The story is entirely based on the sources researched, which are given below.

Rahul Gandhi was alleged of gang rape in the year 2006- No media exposed it; media should have aired this news even if it was a fake. But there are few questions- why the raped girl and her family members are still missing? Why the reporters who reported it are missing? Why media prefer exposing a girl named Haya Fatima- who called herself the wife of Abhishek Bachhan? If there was nothing fishy, then how come everyone connected to this case missed?

In 2007, when Rahul factor was working incredible for Indian National Congress and the youth leader Rahul was busy campaigning for his party including his traditional constituency Amethi. He was alleged in gang raping a girl named Ms. Sukanya- Daughter of a congress worker named Balram Singh. She was big time fan of Rahul Gandhi. During Rahul along with his seven friend (Out of which two were from Britain and two from Italy) were enjoying their liquor party in an Amethi based guest house, the girl went to meet his IDOL, who first offered him to drink wine, later when she refused to take it. She was raped by everyone present in the guest house one by one.

She somehow escaped herself and knocked every door for the help but everyone in the terror of Congress Goondas didn’t opened their gate knowing all the facts. She along with her mother approached police station, no FIR was written.
She was said to run away by her father, because workers were said to kill them on sight. She later on approached Human Rights Commission, met Sonia Gandhi but nothing turned up. Both of them tried to meet president too, but they never met and never got justice. Since then all three Including Sukanya, Smriti Devi (Mother) and Balram Singh (Father) are missing. Videographer Dhrupad and a cameraman from a news channel, who later recorded statement of Sukanya are also reported missing till the date. Madhya Pradesh’s MLA Kishore Samrite had filled a case against Rahul Gandhi for this act, but he was claimed entirely wrong and HC said that “He tried to jeopardize the reputation of a high profile person” and even been fined 50 lakhs for the same.

Now finally on 5th April, 2011, Supreme Court issued a notice to Rahul Gandhi and Five others on a petition filed by Former MLA Kishor Samrite challenging Allahbad HC order in an alleged gang rape case.

We don’t know what the reality is? How the case has been molded? How this high profile case was turned, the question that rises here is, where was the media, why this report just came rarely in short stories of some local news papers and few National level but that too hiding the realities behind. Why the entire family is missing? Where the reporters are who recorded Sukanya’s last statement?

Shame on such crooked Media which like starving dogs show or hide for which they are paid? If this would be the case of some other leader of opposition, I am sure he would have been exposed badly and the news would go on-air for 15 days.

As usual, the puppet media did not show this at all!! I would request all of you to share and spread this as much as you can!!

Bellary- Life after ban on Mining

11th Oct 2011

Mining is the most accommodating job in the Bellary district from the past decade. Most of the people left farming and joined mining camps which helped them to earn huge amount of money. Mining Mafia emanated decades back and influenced local mob to join with them and paid incredible wages for them. District had innumerable migrants from neighboring states and thousands of people are employed to work at mining camps. The Reddy brothers and other chot mota owners mined huge deposits of  iron for their buyers in China. China Boom for IRON requirement rocked mining industry in Bellary-Hospet-Sandur(BHS) region and corers of money flowed in as the demand raised. All this inflow came to an end when supreme court banned mining in BHS region considering the environmental issues. Mining was totally stopped when G.J.Reddy was put behind bars.

Now everybody in the mineral-rich-district, be it a farmer, truck driver, steel mill worker, school teacher, doctor, bureaucrat, politician, small shop owner, hotelier, private transporters in one way or other are being effected by the imposed ban on the mining in BHS region. The ban on mining affected the transporters the worst, A truck driver who owned a single truck easily made Rs30,000 a month but they are job less now. Some of them who bought trucks through bank loans are unable to pay back them. Nearly thousand odd trucks are lying idle after the ban imposed in the region . Farmers also got inspired by the mining and started surface mining in their fields and collected some iron and sold it to the truck drivers and made huge amounts of money but now they don't get even a single penny and more over they ruined the farms and it takes more than 100 years to repair the damage done due to surface mining in the farm lands.

Most of them migrants left the region after the ban and local mob who owned land re-started farming and land less people are at cross roads and they are still with a strong hope that mining will resume shortly. Many hotels have been established in the region and they are experiencing 70% downfall in the business and most of them remained closed. Even seven seat auto drivers used to earn around 1000 bucks a day but now they are unable to feed their families. Thousands of people lost their lively hood and most of the youth are idle since they are illiterates and this sudden downfall made them dumb. Ban on mining will make barren hills to turn into green again but not all are happy. Most of them want the mining to be resumed under the strict control of the central boards but environmentalists are strictly opposing this.

The state govt must take an immediate action for the uplifting the devastated people in the BHS region and the immediate source of funds for this program should be the mine owners like Gali Janardhana Reddy who made infinite illegal profits from the mining. This case is obvious instance to prove what ever happens in the nation the ultimate refugee is the "Common Man"

Being INDIAN

8th oct 2011

please read this post completely.....................if you don't have time now .......download it and read it later..........

Why is the media here so negative?
Why are we in India so embarrassed to recognize our own strengths, our achievements? We are such a great nation. We have so many amazing
success stories but we refuse to acknowledge them.

Why?
We are the first in milk production.
We are number one in Remote sensing satellites.
We are the second largest producer of wheat.
We are the second largest producer of rice.
Look at Dr. Sudarshan , he has transferred the tribal village into
a self-sustaining, self-driving unit.

There are millions of such achievements but our media is only obsessed in the bad news and failures and disasters.

I was in Tel Aviv once and I was reading the Israeli newspaper.

It was the day after a lot of attacks and bombardments and deaths had taken
place. The Hamas had struck.
But the front page of the newspaper had the picture of a Jewish gentleman who in five years had transformed his desert into an orchid and a granary. It was this inspiring picture that everyone woke up to. The
gory details of killings, bombardments, deaths, were inside in the newspaper, buried among other news.

In India we only read about death, sickness, terrorism, crime. Why are we so
NEGATIVE?

Another question: Why are we, as a nation so obsessed with foreign things?

We want foreign TVs, we want foreign shirts. We want foreign technology.

Why this obsession with everything imported. Do we not realize that self-respect comes with self-reliance? I was in Hyderabad giving this
lecture, when a 14 year old girl asked me for my autograph.. I asked her what her goal in life is.

She replied: I want to live in a developed India . For her, you and I will have to build this developed India . You must proclaim. India is not an
under-developed nation; it is a highly developed nation. Do you have 10
minutes? Allow me to come back with a vengeance.

Got 10 minutes for your country? If yes, then read; otherwise, choice is
yours.
YOU say that our government is inefficient. YOU say that our laws are too old. YOU say that the municipality does not pick up the garbage. YOU say that the phones don't work, the railways are a joke,  The airline is the worst in the world, mails never reach their destination. YOU say that our country has been fed to the dogs and is the absolute pits..

YOU say, say and say. What do YOU do about it? Take a person on his way to Singapore . Give him a name - YOURS. Give him a face - YOURS. YOU walk out of the airport and you are at your International best. In Singapore you don't throw cigarette butts on the roads or eat in the stores. YOU are as proud of their Underground links as they are. You pay $5 (approx. Rs. 60) to drive through Orchard Road (equivalent of Mahim Causeway or Pedder Road) between 5 PM and 8 PM. YOU come back to the parking lot to punch your parking ticket if you have over stayed in a restaurant or a shopping mall irrespective of your status identity... In Singapore you don't say anything, DO YOU? YOU wouldn't dare to eat in public during Ramadan, in Dubai . YOU would not dare to go out without your head covered in Jeddah . YOU would not dare to buy an employee of the telephone exchange in London at 10 pounds ( Rs.650) a month to, 'see to it that my STD and ISD calls are billed to someone else.'YOU would not dare to speed beyond 55 mph (88 km/h) in Washington and then tell the traffic cop, 'Jaanta hai main kaun hoon (Do you know who I am?). I am so and so's son. Take your two bucks and get lost.' YOU wouldn't chuck an empty coconut shell anywhere other than the garbage pail on the beaches in Australia and New Zealand ... Why don't YOU spit Paan on the streets of Tokyo ? Why don't YOU use examination jockeys or buy fake certificates in Boston ??? We are still talking of the same YOU. YOU who can respect and conform to a foreign system in other countries but cannot in your own. You who will throw papers and cigarettes on the road the moment you touch Indian ground. If you can be an involved and appreciative citizen in an alien country, why cannot you be the same here in India ?

Once in an interview, the famous Ex-municipal commissioner of Bombay , Mr.Tinaikar , had a point to make. 'Rich people's dogs are walked on the streets to leave their affluent droppings all over the place,' he said. 'And then the same people turn around to criticize and blame the authorities for inefficiency and dirty pavements. What do they expect the officers to do? Go down with a broom every time their dog feels the pressure in his bowels? In America every dog owner has to clean up after his pet has done the
job. Same in Japan . Will the Indian citizen do that here?' He's right. We go to the polls to choose a government and after that forfeit all responsibility. We sit back wanting to be pampered and expect the government to do everything for us whilst our contribution is totally negative. We expect the government to clean up but we are not going to stop chucking
garbage all over the place nor are we going to stop to pick a up a stray piece of paper and throw it in the bin. We expect the railways to provide clean bathrooms but we are not going to learn the proper use of bathrooms. We want Indian Airlines and Air India to provide the best of food and toiletries but we are not going to stop pilfering at the least
opportunity. This applies even to the staff who is known not to pass on the
service to the public.

When it comes to burning social issues like those
related to women, dowry, girl child! and others, we make loud drawing room protestations and continue to do the reverse at home. Our excuse? 'It's the whole system which has to change, how will it matter if I alone fore-go my
sons' rights to a dowry.' So who's going to change the system? What does a system consist of ? Very conveniently for us it consists of our neighbours, other households, other cities, other communities and the government. But definitely not me and YOU. When it comes to us actually making a positive contribution to the system we lock ourselves along with our families into a safe cocoon and look into the distance at countries far away and wait for a Mr.Clean to come along & work miracles for us with a majestic sweep of his hand or we leave the country and run away.Like lazy cowards hounded by our fears we run to America to bask in their glory and praise their system. When New York becomes insecure we run to England ..When England experiences unemployment, we take the next flight out
to the Gulf. When the Gulf is war struck, we demand to be rescued and
brought home by the Indian government. Everybody is out to abuse and make love to
the country..

Nobody thinks of feeding the system. Our conscience is mortgaged to money.

Dear Indians, The article is highly thought inductive, calls for a great
deal of introspection and pricks one's conscience too..... I am echoing
J. F. Kennedy 's words to his fellow Americans to relate to Indians.....

'ASK WHAT WE CAN DO FOR INDIA AND DO WHAT HAS TO BE DONE TO MAKE
INDIA WHAT AMERICA AND OTHER WESTERN COUNTRIES ARE TODAY'

Lets do what India needs from us.

Forward this mail to each Indian for a change instead of sending Jokes or junk mails.
