Reservation for a specified class of people is being provided by the govt of India at various sectors. Actually it was a wise decision taken by bunch of genius people for uplifting the down trodden people. They devised an excellent plan for the identification of these people and grouped them into SC(15%) & ST(7.5%) and provided required reservation to them national wide immediately after India became Independent. The plan was fabulous and it bought drastic changes in the lives of those people but on the other side new backward casts started to emanate in the society and these so called forward class poor people started increasing in the nation.
Govt never taken care of these new born poor people and started allocating more quotas and in the year 2006 OBC(27%) was introduced by the Govt and the total quota went up to 49.5% see how ridiculous it is. Actually Govt says that Creamy Layer is excluded from the reservation...but what about the 1000`s of people getting reservations illegally at every nook and corner of the nation by showing fake income certificates.
I would like to say one thing which is very obvious in the society life of an OC guy is miserable because it is the only class which never experienced any reservation quota even OC girls are getting it in the form of Women reservation...let us take Andhrapradesh 25% for BC`s, 15% for SC`s, 6% for ST`s and 4% for Muslims exactly 50% of the Govt jobs & seats in educational institutions are RESERVED...and it is not the end again in the remaining 50% we have Women reservation of 33%...now just imagine the life of an OC guy and the huge competition he have to face.
I am not against to this system, In the present scenario the entire reservation system should be reviewed and lots of amendments have to be made. We should not provide reservation based on the caste & religion because there are many down trodden people in the forward classes and some of them even don`t have the basic essentials. Even though there is a restriction that reservation should not exceed 50%, States like TN and Rajasthan have crossed the limit by demonstrating some reasons. More over reservation should be limited to certain levels for instance providing it in the Post Graduation courses is ridiculous because till graduation we have provided them reservation and gave them a fair chance to prosper in their life and after graduation they have to prove their skills uplifting at this stage is never advisable and the entrance into PG courses should be MERIT based. We cant provide reservations to the jobs where talent is the main criteria in the work and this reservation system is responsible for the Brain-Drain.
According to me Entire people in India should be divided in to certain classes based on the Poverty Line and then reservations should be provided to the backward classes where caste and religion is strictly omitted while grouping but these filthy politicians always play with the people by dividing them based on the casts..these idiots never change.
